Professional Certification Program
B3’s Professional Certification Program, as part of the Operational Qualification Program (PQO), aims to maintain a high level of professional knowledge for those individuals that perform activities related to B3 markets. It also establishes an ongoing educational and professional development process for these professionals, in order to maintain high level standards of operational quality in the financial intermediation industry.
Anyone can obtain PQO Certifications, regardless of being a B3’s participant employee. The knowledge areas that compose the certification program are: Operations, Compliance, Risk, Commercial, Back Office, Settlement, Custody and Investors and Participants Registration.
The choice of knowledge area must be based on the activities performed by the professional, in accordance with the descriptions contained in the Professional Certification Manual.
