BM&FBOVESPA Segment
In the BM&FBOVESPA Segment, B3 manages a single multi-asset trading platform, the PUMA Trading System. This system encompasses trades with equities, fixed income, derivatives and commodities.
The prevailing rules of B3’s regulatory framework for BM&FBOVESPA Segment trading are still divided according to the originating BOVESPA and BM&F Segments, as below. Please note, however, that B3 is working towards the unification of the Rulebook and Operating Procedures Manual, consolidating operating rules for BOVESPA and BM&F.

OTC B3
In the OTC B3, B3 manages two systems integrating the electronic platform, named Cetip | Trader and CetipNet. These allow agile trading of Fixed Income securities, with government bonds, CRA, CRI and CFF being the main features in Cetip | Trader. The two systems provide tools that ease transactions and add liquidity to this market.
In these transactions, trade price information is announced to the market via the www.cetip.com.br website, assuring price transparency. Transactions in Cetip | Trader are sent to the OTC B3 registration system or to Selic, depending on the underlying instrument of the transaction.
Chapter II of the OTC B3 Rulebook, deals with trading in assets (i) in an electronic platform or (ii) outside of the OTC B3 environment. In both cases, the trade is sent for registration in the OTC B3 system.
The rules and procedures for the platform’s operation are described in the Manual de Normas da Plataforma Eletrônica (Cetip | Trader e CetipNet).
