  • Retail Broker

    Identifies the Full Trading Participants and Trading Participants with organizational and technology structure dedicated to providing consulting and financial advisory services, client prospecting and order execution services, as well as B3 product distribution services for individual investors and nonfinancial companies.

    Main characteristics

    • Provision of advisory services and an electronic trading platform for financial products specifically for individual investors.
    • Diversification of products, educational content and investment alternatives.
    • Provision of mobile technology trading tools and electronic platforms aimed at investors.
    • Provision of different relationship channels and of customer service.

     

  • Agro Broker

    Identifies the Full Trading Participants and Trading Participants with organizational and technology structure dedicated to providing consulting and financial advisory services, client prospecting and order execution services, as well as distribution services for B3 agricultural commodity derivatives.

    • Availability of a team and electronic platform specifically for trading agricultural commodity products.
    • Structure dedicated to prospecting new agribusiness clients.
    • Periodical publication of newsletters and reports for clients, containing information about the sector (crop forecasts, weather conditions, exchange rate information, etc.).

     

  • Carrying Broker

    Identifies the Full Trading Participants and Trading Participants that have financial capacity and organizational and technology structure dedicated to providing risk management, settlement, collateral management, position consolidation and custody services for institutional investors and non-financial companies.

    Main characteristics

    • Access authorization as a B3 Clearing Member and with Own Working Capital and Equity which total at least BRL 100 million.
    • Effective risk administration and risk management procedures.
    • Provision of tools and electronic platforms for the exchange of information about trades executed by its customers - intraday or day’s close.
    • Contingency sites connected to B3’s trading and post-trade platforms.

     

  • Nonresident Investor Broker

    Nonresident Investor Broker: Identification of the Full Trading Participant and the Trading Participant with specialized organizational and technology structure for client prospecting, for the provision of consultation services, for order execution and for the distribution of B3 products to nonresident investors.

    What are the significant features?

    • The Participant has a structure dedicated to and specialized in attending to nonresident investors, from prospecting and onboarding to front, middle and back-office activities.
    • The Participant has a global presence and global activity.
    • The Participant has authorization to access the Foreign Exchange Clearinghouse or belongs to a financial conglomerate that has due access authorization.
    • The Participant uses the B3 overseas collateral deposit service.
