CI.CORP is structured to provide companies with corporate governance support services, initially in regard to distance voting, pursuant to the provisions of Securities and Exchange Commission of Brazil (CVM) Instruction 561. CI.CORP is specifically responsible for distributing the distance voting card to the market, meaning that investors can submit their voting instructions to determined meetings without having to be physically present or to send a proxy. This swift and agile communication channel for companies listed on B3 permits greater shareholder participation in corporate decision making.
To submit voting instructions to meetings, shareholders may seek the services of their custody agents or custodian banks or even send voting cards directly to the company in question.
