The CDA was regulated to replace the “knowledge of deposit.” WA is a credit bond that grants pledge rights over the commodities in the corresponding CDA. Both are extrajudicial bonds.
CDA and WA can be collateralized by the bank guarantee or insurance and be traded individually or as a group. As financial assets, they are subject to IOF (Tax on Financial Transactions).
