Occupational Health and Safety

To ensure a safe and healthy work environment, we conduct periodic inspections, comply with all regulatory standards, and continuously enhance the infrastructure available to employees, interns, and service providers.

This area is managed by the Occupational Safety and Health department, which reports to the HR Division. The commitments and practices related to this topic are formalized in the Social, Environmental, and Climate Responsibility Policy, which is approved by the Board of Directors, and in the Occupational Health and Safety Procedure, approved at the executive director level.

The Occupational Health and Safety Procedure includes the commitments to:

  1. Maintaining continuous improvement of health and safety systems and management, consulting workers or their representatives when necessary;
  2. Prioritizing action plans and ensure the implementation of actions established in measurable and quantitative performance targets, when applicable;
  3. Developing activities aimed at compliance with labor and social security legislation regarding health and safety at work.

More information about our health and safety practices and programs is available in our Annual Report.
