The B3 Real Estate Investment Fund Index (IFIX) is compiled as a weighted average of a theoretical portfolio of shares of exchange-traded and OTC-traded real estate funds pursuant to criteria set forth in this methodology.
The indices compiled by B3 adopt concepts and practices set forth in the Concepts and Practices Manual for B3 Indices.
Objective
The IFIX is designed to measure the average performance of exchange-traded and OTC-traded real estate funds admitted for trading on the stock exchange or organized over-the-counter market operated by B3.
Index type
The IFIX is a total return index (see the Concepts and Practices Manual for B3 Indices).
Eligible stocks
The IFIX is composed of shares of exchange-traded and OTC-traded real estate funds authorized for trading by B3.
