São Paulo, June 05, 2018 –  B3 has taken yet another step to advance its innovation program, Foresee, and has partnered with the venture capital firm Redpoint eVentures. The goal is to bring B3 even closer to the entrepreneurial ecosystem by fostering the development of the market and boosting new business opportunities.

The Foresee program encompasses several initiatives, such as the Darwin Starter startup acceleration and mentoring program with activities in Florianópolis and São Paulo; the laboratory of innovation and technology – where opportunities are assessed through disruptive technologies; direct investment in fintechs; and partnerships with development organizations, such as the Brazilian Startups Association (ABStartups) and the Santa Catarina State Association of Technology Companies (ACATE).

Tarcísio Morelli, B3’s Market Intelligence and Fee Managing Director, explains the importance of the partnership. "Investment in the fund managed by Redpoint reinforces the importance of innovation and connection with the entrepreneurs’ community, as we believe that this rapport can be beneficial both for investees and for B3. Our partnership with Redpoint represents an alliance between two companies recognized in their areas of activity, and this will surely bring significant results to the development of investees,” says Morelli.
